The Bob Frandzel Memorial Award will be presented to Allison and Frank Addante.
Allison shifted her life focus to philanthropy from the corporate media world of Madison Avenue. Allison’s passion for CASA originated in college; CASA was the national philanthropy for Allison’s sorority at Syracuse University.
Allison’s corporate career started in Chicago at two of the world’s most recognized advertising agencies, Publicis and Foote, Cone & Belding. She developed and managed global media campaigns for a variety of brands including Whirlpool, Hilton Hotels and Principal Financial Group. Later, she relocated to New York and transitioned into digital advertising sales at CBS MarketWatch and The Wall Street Journal.
Looking for a new challenge, Allison moved to Los Angeles and joined the Rubicon Project to help develop a new advertising technology product for the company.
Allison’s true passion lies in the betterment, growth and welfare of children. Having enjoyed a successful career in media, she turned her full-time attention to philanthropy. CASA, an organization she aspired to return to since college, was her natural choice. In 2010, Allison took on her first CASA case. In addition to serving as an active advocate, she regularly works as a Court Assistant in Shelter Care at the courthouse.
Allison is also a member of Sandpipers, a volunteer organization dedicated to serving the needs of the Los Angeles South Bay community through charitable and philanthropic programs.
