The Diagnostic Center, Southern California provides high-quality, individualized services to special education students, their families, and school districts.

Join us on from 12 PM – 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 24, in the DCFS Conference Room in the Edelman Children’s Court. Laura Anderson, Assistant Director of the Diagnostic Center, Southern California, will discuss the center’s services, which are provided by expert, transdisciplinary teams of diagnostic professionals that may include educational specialists, speech-language specialists, school psychologists, clinical psychologists, motor specialists, and pediatricians who address the unique educational needs of Southern California’s most difficult to-serve students enrolled in special education programs.

Presented by: Laura Anderson, Assistant Director of the Diagnostic Center, Southern California. Laura Anderson holds an M.A. in Educational Administration, an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, California Speech-Language Pathology license, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Laura was a speech and language specialist at the preschool and elementary level as well as at a non-public school. Laura has had extensive experience working with culturally diverse populations and has worked with special needs students of all ages. Laura has presented on the topics of moderate to severe disabilities, autism, assistive technology, developmental assessment and behavior intervention for school districts and other educational professionals.
