Lynn Pittenger

Lynn Pittenger of Studio City has been a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer for CASA of Los Angeles for over six years, helping children in foster care. She focuses her efforts on the very young, between 0-3 years of age.

Lynn was assigned to a little boy who had been moved five times in one month and each time he moved he would lose more and more of his personal belongings. Having spent time with him, Lynn was familiar with his belongings, and spent months tracking them all down. “In December, I walked in with a big box of his things and a photo of his mother. This 3 year-old little boy’s eyes just lit up,” said Pittenger. “And to top it all off, his biological mother turned her life around and they were reunited. This is what I really love about CASA; working with children and really seeing that you can make an impact on a young life.”
