GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
It is CASA/LA’s policy to be professional and responsive at all times. However, issues can arise. If you are unable to resolve the situation with the volunteer or staff member, the next step is to call and speak with CASA/LA’s Chief Program Officer at 323.859.2888. If informal attempts to resolve the issues fail, any person, including the CASA volunteer, is free to file a formal written grievance.
If the grievance concerns a CASA volunteer or staff member, please send a letter, along with supporting documents to: Chief Program Officer, 201 Centre Plaza Drive, Suite 1100, Monterey Park, CA 91754.
Grievances against CASA volunteers are always retained in the volunteer’s personnel file. If the grievance pertains to the Chief Executive Officer, the letter should be addressed to: Chairperson, CASA Board of Directors, 201 Centre Plaza Drive, Suite 1100, Monterey Park, CA 91754.
