In-Service Training

Super Special Education (Online)

When: September 15, 2021 from 12 pm to 2 pm

This “Super Special Education” training is catered for those who are already familiar with the basics of special education. In this training we will dig into some of the most common special education challenges that we see come up for youth in foster care.
Topics covered will include:
•Warning signs that a student might need a higher level of special education services
•What you can do if a student has higher-level behavior or mental health needs at school
•Different placement options for students with high levels of special education needs
•Common Complications in IEPs
•Special education and school discipline
Training will take place online.
