This enables us to grow and continue to serve our CASA children and youth so each of them have an opportunity to receive the support of a CASA volunteer. CASA/LA received $1.25 for every Maxine (Created by Phoebe Bridgers) sold from August 22nd to November 22nd, 2022.
Past Support
Buttah Skin
CASA/LA received $20,000 from and 20% of every sunscreen sold in May 2022.
LATHER
CASA/LA received 20% of the proceeds from an in-Studio event at LATHER Pasadena.
Makers Mess
CASA/LA received 5% of the proceeds from their Intention Candles Kit from May 1st – May 31st.
HomeState
CASA/LA received $1.25 for every Ft. Worth Taco (Created by Leon Bridges) sold from February 7th to April, 30th, 2022.
Dirt Dog
CASA/LA received $1 for every hot dog sold at their 3 LA locations on July 24th, 2022.
Donut Friend
CASA/LA received 50% of the purchases made in February, 2018 at Donut Friend as a result of sales from their Compassion Fruit donut.
HopSkipDrive
In honor of National Foster Care Month, HopSkipDrive supported CASA of Los Angeles by donating a portion of each ride taken in the month of May and also matched every donation made to CASA through HopSkipDrive.
Mendocino Farms
The DTLA location donated 20% of sales from any customer who mentioned CASA/LA when purchasing their lunch on a specific day.
MG Properties
Every year MG Properties holds a Walk-A-Thon at Pasadena’s Rosebowl to raise funds for CASA of Los Angeles. This year all the various properties in the Greater Los Angeles area came together to walk and fundraise for us totaling just over $4,000.
Oxy Theta Dodgeball Tournament
The Occidental College Kappa Alpha Thetas monetarily support CASA of Los Angeles by hosting an annual Dodgeball tournament with proceeds donated to us. This event is campus-wide and open to all- alumni, friends, and faculty. Each team pays an entrance fee and is treated to an entire afternoon of food and entertainment.
KAT at Bat by USC Thetas
KAT at Bat is Omicron’s annual philanthropic fundraising event where fraternities and other campus organizations register teams to compete in a Wiffle Ball Tournament. It is always a fun-filled day full of music, raffles, and Pink’s hot dogs with proceeds donated to CASA/LA.
Sidecar Doughnuts
Sidecar Doughnuts chose CASA/LA to receive 10% of proceeds from any “Black Velvet” doughnut purchased in a one month period in 2017.
Salutations Home and the Pasadena Thetas
Each year, in the month of November, the Pasadena Theta Alumnae Chapter holds a holiday shopping event at Salutations Home in Pasadena where customers shop and a percentage of the proceeds from sales that day are donated to CASA/LA.
Century City Chamber of Commerce’s Casino Night
The CC Chamber hosted a Casino/Poker Tournament on September 6th, 2018 with 25% of proceeds supporting CASA of Los Angeles.
