Did you know that children involved with the child welfare system are at higher risk of becoming involved with the justice system? Or that the behaviors we see with justice-involved youth are often a result of trauma from early childhood?

Join us for a hybrid in person/ virtual half-day training, and learn more about:

  • How to identify personal and systemic biases that put children at risk for justice involvement
  • How to improve our advocacy in the child welfare and youth justice systems
  • How systemic racism plays a role in how children become involved in multiple systems

Continuing Education Credits: 3 hours

Please register at this link, whether you plan to join in person at the CASA/LA Office or virtually via Zoom. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after completing your registration.
