Join us for the virtual version of a training that we provided in-person on 2/27. What is a CFT Meeting? What is my role in a CFT meeting? How can I ensure that the child’s needs are being met? How can I best support with the follow up after the meeting? Join us for this in-person training from the CASA/LA team. CFT meetings are designed to support team collaboration to address the needs of children in the child welfare and youth justice systems. Their goal is to encourage the child’s support networks to link children to supportive services and individuals that can increase stability in all areas of a child’s life. Your CASA advocacy during CFTs can ensure that these meetings continue to be child-focused, prioritizing strategies that lead to permanency and stability. In this training, we will review CFT-associated processes and your role in them as a CASA.
