Educational Advocacy for Crossover Youth
This training will give CASAs an understanding of the educational rights for youth involved in both the dependency and juvenile justice systems.
You’ll learn about:
- School of origin rights
- Partial credits
- Alternative graduation paths
- Protections related to school discipline, and
- How to advocate for your young person in court
