Join us for a training on the psychological implications of ongoing transitions throughout childhood. At any given time, there are almost half a million children in foster care throughout the country. Each child, even in the best scenario, will navigate at least one more transition to a new home before finding permanency. This training will share concrete transition facilitation strategies that keep the experience of the child in mind. STAND With Me offers a set of guidelines that you can use in conversations with other service providers and the court to ensure you are providing the most child-focused perspective when a transition is necessary.
