Join us for this timely training from the Children’s Law Center (CLC). This training will summarize recent immigration-related policy changes and additional anticipated changes that might impact youth in foster care, their families, or caregivers. We will discuss how Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) can approach conversations with individuals about immigration issues and provide Know Your Rights resources that can be shared with anyone who might need them.  Attendees will learn about steps they can and should take to assist and protect immigrant youth and families with whom they are working, while also learning about what not to do.
