Join CASA/LA for this presentation from two experts from the Alliance for Children’s Rights. This training will look at how trauma impacts the brain, learning, and behavior. We will also review how those caring for children who have experienced trauma can better understand how to meet their needs. You will learn how to provide students with a sense of safety, control, and self-regulation, all of which helps their brains to be better prepared to learn.
