Join us for this virtual training from CASA/LA staff. Child family team (CFT) meetings are designed to strengthen team collaboration to better address the needs of youth with dependency and justice system involvement. Their goal is to encourage the youth’s support networks to link them to services and individuals that can increase stability in all areas of their life. Your CASA advocacy during CFTs can ensure that these meetings continue to be child-focused, prioritizing strategies that lead to permanency and stability. In this training, we will review CFT-associated processes and your role in them as a CASA volunteer.
