LAUSD recognizes that each child has their own unique interests, talents and challenges.  With this in mind, the District offers numerous specialized programs, including themed programs, dual language immersion academies, dual college enrollment high school pathways, independent studies, virtual academies, and alternative educational options.  This training will empower participants with information about programs, eligibility for various programs, how to explore and compare different school options, and how to apply.
