CASA of Los Angeles In Your Community

Our CASA/LA Volunteer Recruitment & Outreach team members after a CASA Community Conversation at Cafe Ora in Leimert Park.

CASA Community Conversations are designed to facilitate crucial discourse around the foster care system and its impact on the community at large. Our focus is on recognizing foster care as a civil rights issue, shedding light on a crucial yet often overlooked dimension of our mission.

Our community conversations are not merely symbolic but serve as a powerful statement to raise awareness about the challenges and injustices faced by children and families in the foster care system.

The objective of these discussions is to encourage community members to become CASA volunteers, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of advocating for children navigating the dependency court system.
