Dr. Anissa McNeil
Dr. Anissa McNeil, a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for children, has been elected to the CASA of Los Angeles Board of Directors. She earned an EdD in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, and holds MAs in education and speech language pathology.
Dr. McNeil has been the director of special education for the elementary and high school districts in Santa Barbara, was an instructor for UCLA’s extension program, a special language pathologist for Fullerton’s Joint Union High School District and a disabilities consultant for Baldwin Park Unified School District. Anissa has also served as a board member of the Southern California Mentoring Program for four years.
Dr. McNeil is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and is also on the SCLARC board of directors.
