This presentation will provide an overview of home visiting services in LA county, which include in-home, non-clinical educational and emotional support to thousands of pregnant and parenting folks. You will learn about LA Best Babies Network, an oversight entity for First 5 LA and Department of Public Health funded home visiting programs. We will also discuss the LA County Perinatal and Early Childhood Home Visitation Consortium, which is the largest home visiting collaborative in the country. This presentation will include an overview of program durations, eligibility requirements, and services. We will also discuss best practices for navigating the home visiting eDirectory, a free tool that connects families and providers to home visiting programs and doula services.
