This presentation will explain what regional centers are, what services they provide and who qualifies for their services.  The presentation will also explain how services are obtained from regional centers and what to do if a dispute arises with a regional center. The presentation will also discuss long-standing funding disparities and what the state has being doing in recent years to try to make services more accessible and equitable. The presentation will also address unique issues involving children in dependency.
