Information will be presented on the recent changes to developmental milestones and what you need to know about making a referral for evaluation or services on behalf of a foster care child. For those working with older children – behavior challenges seen in teens can often be traced back to early developmental issues, especially if there is compounding trauma. Presenter will discuss how trauma effects development including the long term impacts on brain development.
