You’ll learn about the strengths and challenges of each option, the key professionals involved, and how to advocate effectively when housing doesn’t meet a youth’s needs. We’ll also cover:

  • Common reasons for housing denials or terminations
  • How SILP readiness assessments work
  • What to do if your youth is placed on a waitlist
  • How to support youth in appealing decisions, requesting extensions, or challenging inappropriate placements
