Attend this training to learn a background on reproductive health and prevention of unintended pregnancy among foster youth. Attendees will learn about rights belonging to youth in care and about what responsibilities social workers and caregivers have to them. We will review the California Foster Youth Sexual Health Education Act (Senate Bill 89). Additionally, we will cover CASA’s need to support the reproductive and sexual health and what services and resources are available in Los Angeles County.
