The session will provide a ‘Know Your Rights’ (KYR) overview, covering the rights that all individuals have, regardless of status, and what they can do to proactively prepare and protect themselves, their families and their communities. “Know Your Rights” training educates individuals on their constitutional rights, particularly during interactions with law enforcement like police and ICE. These trainings often cover topics such as constitutional rights, legal procedures, and how to de-escalate potentially tense situations
