“This training will begin with an overview of issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community, such as the discrimination and overrepresentation of LGBTQ+ youth, particularly in child welfare and justice systems. Risk factors and pathways of entry into risky/harmful behaviors for LGBTQ+ youth will be identified and explored, along with strategies and solutions to best support and effectively work with these individuals.”
