Join CASA/LA for this training from the Children’s Law Center (CLC). This presentation will discuss topics related to advocacy for dual-status youth (youth involved in both the child welfare and the juvenile justice systems). We will cover topics including clients’ rights and obligations while on probation, supporting youth who are on either diversion or probation, and resources that may be available to dual-status youth, such as CLC CARE and Dual Status teams. By the end of the presentation, you will better understand how to support your justice-involved youth.
